Scram 440 is an ADV crossover motorcycle evolved over the years with an adventure DNA. Whether it’s navigating through the urban maze or the most challenging terrains, this motorcycle is always ready to pull through.  Compared to other motorcycles in the segment, Scram offers elevated functionality for the best balance of urban commuting and off-road capabilities. The Scram's practicality in the city is further enhanced through the new alloy wheels that allow tubeless tyres, an accessible 795mm seat heights as well as top box capability . On the other end of the spectrum, when the road turns to gravel, it offers much improved performance combined with 19-inch front 17-inch rear wheels for better control on uneven surfaces, dual purpose on-off road tyres, 200mm ground clearance and a switchable ABS. For those wanting to maintain a classic trail appeal also have the option of wire spoke wheels

Scram 440 is a crossover motorcycle evolved over the years with an adventure DNA. Being a crossover machine it is designed to perform in both on and off-road scenarios. Whether it’s the urban maze or the most challenging terrains, this motorcycle is always ready to pull through.

The long travel suspension of Scram was designed to offer best balance of ride and comfort over various riding terrains - we have retained the aspects that have proved to provide a great customer ride experience - The suspension is very capable already and thus does not require to be altered. The travel of 190 mm at front and 180mm at rear is still higher than most competition scramblers and adventure motorcycles.

The Scram 440 is a cross-over motorcycle. It uses the long stroke air cooled single cylinder that is designed for low end torque and easy riding within. The 25.4bhp and 34 Nm of performance is aimed at laid back riding with ample torque at all road speeds.

On the other hand, Himalayan 450 is an adventure motorcycle and uses a liquid cooled 450cc single cylinder that is designed for higher performance. This is reflected in the 40bhp power and 40Nm torque figures, these numbers translate to higher performance on the road. 

The fuel tank is 15 liters in capacity. The range should easily be above 400kms in one full tank. The ARAI certified fuel efficiency is 30.12 Kmpl

The tyres on Scram 440 are dual purpose to offer best grip in varied riding situations on the road and off-road. The Scram 440 also offers the options between alloy wheels with tubeless tyres & spoke wheels with tube tyres.

The new riders will be welcomed with easy accessibility because of low seat height and comfortable ergonomics. The new engine has ample low-end performance for easy riding around town.
